Crònica de "Converses de futur"
Dimarts passat vaig assistir a la primera "Converses de futur", patrocinades per Banc Sabadell. Va ser una experiència molt interessant, que m'agradaria compartir amb vosaltres. És un recull de sensacions viscudes, frases escoltades i accions observades mentre era allà. Espero que us faci pensar, i gaudiu d'aquesta crònica de la conversa entre Dídac Lee i Toni Segarra tant com jo ho vaig fer.19:00 - Hora de la cita, al Convent dels Àngels de Barcelona.
19:02 - Arribo al lloc, patint per fer tard (què em passa a mi, que no vull fer mai tard?). M'adono que no porto els candaus de la bicicleta. Resignat, penso que el millor és tornar a casa, per no arriscar-me a perdre el meu mitjà de transport.
19:03 - Decideixo preguntar al vigilant de l'entrada si puc deixar la bicicleta en algun lloc. Descobreixo la gran predisposició i amabilitat d'aquell senyor, que de seguida troba la solució. Em vigilaran la bicicleta perquè pugui assistir a l'acte. Els estels -i els homes de gris- estan alineats. Gràcies!
19:05 - Control d'entrada amb Ipad. La sessió promet. I guarda-roba de franc. Molta gent. Això és un bar? per què tantes ampolles de gin?
19:15 - He comprovat que les begudes són, també, de franc. Em prendria un gintònic de Seagram's, tal com recomana el meu amic Fernando, però fa 3 mesos que l'entrenament per la marató i l'alcohol són incompatibles; demano una tònica. Dec ser l'únic. Les copes-baló són a les mans de gairebé tothom.
19:16 - Faig una ronda per la sala i tasto tots els aperitius que hi ha (el que hagi de venir, que m'enganxi amb la panxa plena). Veig unes taules amb quaderns i llapis per fer anotacions. N'agafo un, i em quedo amb les ganes d'agafar-ne més per fer un regal als meus fills.
19:25 - Sense bateria al mòbil. L'oportunitat perfecta per escoltar i mirar. També dec ser l'únic que mira al voltant. Som en una església, d'estil gòtic, però a tothom sembla que li és igual.
19:30 - Comença la conversa: els dos protagonistes, a la zona de l'altar. Els altres, asseguts en cubs, a la zona dels fidels. Gent dreta al darrere, i alguns cubs buits.
19:31 - Començo a anotar frases que van dient els dos protagonistes, i ja no pararé de fer-ho durant tota l'estona. Quan una frase m'arriba, l'anoto literalment:

20:30 - S'acaba la sessió, i tinc la sort de ser el primer en recollir la jaqueta del guarda-roba. Recullo la bici, agraeixo la feina al vigilant de la porta (diria que s'ha sorprès de l'encaixada de mans), i torno cap a casa després de prendre'm la segona tònica i fer una ronda de comiat als canapès.

Chronicle of "Conversations about future"
Last Tuesday I attended the first "Conversations about future", sponsored by Banc Sabadell . It was a very interesting experience that I would like to share with you .I hope you enjoy this chronicle of the conversation between Dídac Lee and Toni Segarra as much as I did .
19:00 - Time of the event , at The Angels' Convent, downtown Barcelona.
19:02 - I arrive at the place. It's two minutes late (why I don't like being late?). I realize I forgot the bicycle locks. I think it 's best to go home, because the risk of losing my bike is too high.
19:03 - I decide to ask the security guard if I can check the bike somewhere. I Discover the great willingness and kindness of that gentleman, who immediately comes up with a solution. My bike will watched by a guard during the meeting, so I can attend it. It looks like stars -and the men in grey- are aligned. Thank you!
19:05 - Check in control with iPad. Wow. And wardrobe for free. thumbs up!. Lots of people. Hey, is that a bar? and it's plenty of Gin bottles.
19:15 - I've found that drinks are also for free. I'd like to order a Seagram 's gintonic, as recommended by my friend Fernando, but 3 months training for the marathon and alcohol are incompatible, so I order tonic water. I must be the only one. The balloon - glasses are in the hands of almost everyone .
19:16 - I walk around and taste all the snacks there. I see a table with notebooks and pencils and pick one of each. I'd like to take some more as a gift for my children, but I dare not.
19:25 - My smartphone's battery is 0%. It's the perfect opportunity to listen and watch. Again, I must be the only one looking around We are in Gothic church, but it seems that nobody cares.
19:30 - The conversation starts. The two players in the area of the altar. The rest of us, sitting on stools. Some people is standing up, though there are some free stools.
19:31 - I start writing down sentences that the two protagonists are saying. Everytime a phrase touches me, I write it down:

20:30 - Session ends, and I am lucky to be the first in the line for the wardrobe. Take my bike, thank the guardian (is he surprised about the handshake?), and go back home after a second tonic water and some extra snacks.
